I haven't know about her well, so I choose this movie.
It was very interesting but not fun, it had me think deeply so many time I felt fear. Of course it shows realistic battle scenes so it was terrible but most frightening scene was that Jeanne talk with lord. Not only an actor of lord's face(It's greatly realistic) but his words and atmosphere sorrounding them. At final scene whici Jeanne talk with lord and she beg permission for her act before she burned. She said like this: allow her selfish, stubborn, arrogant, pride and her act in battle. She had believed that she was Messennger of Lord, but in the talk with Lord, she was said by him it's imagination which she wanted to be. However she didn't deny her belief, she believe Lord and she was burned.
It was completely gloomy movie. The battle scenes are bloody and grotesque, and in the Palace or central church there are unclear things, so I couldn't enjoy but her life style that she never change her belief even if she dies. It was beautiful.

TORA TORA TORA !

I thought that what a realistic sound and vision, of course it didn't use computer graphics.
I could know the flow of the begining of World War Ⅱ, and my impression is that before the attack for Pearl hurbor there were many conflicts and people's worry but most impressed point was that American army hadn't recognize Japanese attack. I really surprized the scene that American soldiers were in haste. Were they really confuse like this, it was funny a litte bit. The flow of transmission of informations was very poor.
This movie is collaboration with Japan and US, so two languages are spoken alternately it's interesting for me to understand them. By watching this movie, I could know his life and the begining of the movement of freedom of blacks which continued to the one Martin Lucer King Jr. leaded.

This movie starts by the last scene ; Gandhi's dead, and movie went to the scene that Gandhi on a train. By he riding on this train, his life was diceded.

What I thought by watching this movie were whatever religion you believe, it's the same that religion was exist for people and everything's happy and it's not reasonable that to protect your belief you use violences.

There was probelems between Hindu and Muslim and each believers insistense their God, but God is only one for one people, so It's wrong that to force own God to other people. Scarlett O'Hara who is the heroin of this gave me some special impact.
In the era of before civil war, there was a beautiful lady who was born in rich family. She was very powerful and active to do anything especially talking with men, so she was very popular. She had loved a men named Ashley. But he marriged with more lady like lady Melanie. Then Scarlett marriged with a man who she didn't love so much because she wanted to be paid attention by him but he died soon in the civil war. Then there appeared a man: Rhett who loved scarlet, he was very unique, courageous, rich good man. But Scarlet marriged again with another men who was sisters' fiance for money to survive, because he just started a business. O'Hara family were in hardship because of the war. But the second husband died too, so Scarlett got marry with Rhett. They lived happily and had a daughter. But tragedy would happened, Scarlett fell down the stairs when she was pregnant so she lost her baby and, their only daughter died by accident, and finaly Ashley's wife Melanie died for ill. When she died Scarlett knew that Ashley really loved Melanie and Scarlett really love Rhett, but it was too late, and Scarlett and Rhett broke up. After that she loved him and decided that she never give up to live, and said "Tomorrow is the anothe day."

First I envied her because she has strong will and never fear doing everything.
I love her words " Tomorrow is the another day." Her positive feeling was shown by this words. When I have some troublesome things and I try and try to solve this problem, but I couldn't get answers, I always quit to think one time and sleep, and think it again tomorrow. So I agree her opinion.

The Princess Mononoke

My selected movie is "Princess Mononoke".
This is one of the most famous movie in Japan and all over the world as Japanese movie. The Director is MIYAZAKI Hayao, one of the most popular director in Japan, and main person of the grope of movie that called Ghibli.
In his movies such as "My neighbor TOTORO","Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind " or "Spirited Away" have messages for us. He taught "Coexistence of People and Nature"
The story is startes by attack of boar which was changed to monster by gun shooting. By killing it, the hero of this movie Ashitaka was cursed and started to journey to survive. In his journey, he met a girl who was brought up by wild dogs. In the main incidents of this story is battle with humans led by a woman named Eboshi and forest's animals and god of nature Shishi-gami. These people make iron , and making iron needs cutting trees. Added followers of emperor who want Shishi-gami's head for forever life, the battle was going to severe, and the forests are going to be vanished. The ending is kind of happy end, Shishi-gami was killed but live again and destroyed forests were came back to life by Shishi-gami's power.
But people never stop making iron to live and of course animals have to live. The relationship between nature and human is too difficult and the point we have to think for the future.
People have developed nature to live since we got high level intelligence . And now, people is originaly weak animals if we don't have any tools, but at a time we got some tools we are strongest animals in the world. But nowadays our development come to the point and have to change way, not only rich life but also live with nature, it's correct way to live on earth. Many resources we have developed are important to live, so studying clean energy or recycling are needed and these are our guilty.
Finaly the word that Ashitaka said "Survive" : "生きろ" is our destiny as earth animals.

Shakespeare in Love

I recommend this movie. I love it!
This story is imagination by writer, but I wish if it would be real story.
I haven't read the book "Romeo and Juliet" but watched the movie it was played by Leonard Dicaplio, however I don't remember whole story, without last scene that Romeo and Juliet deaths. But it was very sad story and I think this is the most sad tragedy all of story I knew.
And if Shakespeare had such love experience drawed in the movie, he could be tragedy writer, I can understand. His scenarios were always comedy but from a time, his scenarios become always tragedy. I think it's not ordinary that comedy writer suddenly become a tragedy writer. I don't know, It's mistery.
I thought Shakespear and his heroine Viola could have happy endind because their love is love. But when Shakespeare decided that "Romeo and Juliet" is tragedy, I felt their love is prevented by destiny like Romeo and Juliet. They were separated but love is not end, however it's lonely.
In this era, Play was very popular in ordinary people. However women cant play a drama in theater, so women part was played by young boy. In Japan these custom, there is "女形", it's man. In China and India there seems have like "女形". Played by man, Woman character become more feminine and have special something, taught by "女形"fan.

The Message

This movie is about Mohammad who is the origin of Muslim. It's said that this is the only one movie that apply Mohammed as a leading part, while Christ is applied many times. The director is the only Arabian person and other staff is almost all Europeans. In this story most impressive scene was the final scene that the black man who was a slave in the influensive person's house shouted Koran on the roof of the temple. I've heard the Koran first time, it has mild and kindly feeling so I listened attentively, In the movie, there were many scenes that I wanted to hide my eyes. There were violence, persecution and many bloody situations. Different from these the sound of Koran was so gentle and I felt I could touch the feeling of Muslim. Today, the part of Muslim people run into terrorism and many people were killed. I want them to get back the original heart of Muslim.

BEN HUR

This movie is very similar to previous one The 10 Commandments . The hero Ben Hur was a sun of successful merchant, but he was gaved innocent and had become slave. As well as Mose, he was dropped by high status and got back. The way of getting back is not easy, Ben Hur had been having the fire of revenge for the Lord who thrown out him. So he never give up.
The difference between Mose and Ben Hur is that Ben Hur was not the messenger, he didn't God voice, his touch with God is the encounter of Jesus. In this movie the life of Jesus is drawn too.
And the main point of this movie are the slave and Hansen's disease. Ben Hur's mother and sister were arrested when Ben Hur was sent to be a slave, and they caught this disease. Until today the distinction of Hansen's disease was not wiped off, however at that time the deal of the patients was tremendously bad. Found the patient, they ran away (or the patients had to have bell and have know people he is patient). This movie have know us like this.
It was very impressive movie.

The 10 Commandments

This movie is about Mose who redeem Hebrew from the then Lord.
One point of this movie is persecution of Hebrew. They are slavery by birth in that period, and unreasonable orders and subjections tortured them. In such a world, as a messenger of God Mose was appeared.
By watching this movie we can know that the histry of ancient Egypt and Christianity. Most of Japanese people don't know about Christianity, so I think good to touch movies like this and know it because it's necessary to understand the world which are based on Christianity greatly.

Hello

It's first time to write blog.
